The Foundation served as an event sponsor in 2022 for this Shasta Living Streets event. We provided event staff support and social media support for event publicity.

This annual community-wide event is led by the City of Redding Community Services Department. These efforts attract between 200 and 400 community members and provide a hands-on way to care for the trails and parks.

The Redding Parks and Trails Foundation supports a local volunteer-Sandi Thompson-who has taken it on herself to tackle the graffiti problem in our community.

The Foundation is an annual sponsor of the Shasta Bike Challenge and Bike Month activities through Healthy Shasta. The Foundation provides financial support and Team Participation.

The Foundation is an active partner and participant with Healthy Shasta for their annual October event by providing social media support for event publicity and team participation.
