A BIT ABOUT US
Turning Interest Into Action
We support projects and public places managed by the City of Redding Parks and
Recreation Department, as well as trails and recreation-related projects that are
community initiated. We focus on the interest and enthusiasm of the community to
support unfunded parks, trails and open spaces projects through:
Fundraising campaigns for specific parks, trails and open spaces projects
Providing community grant programs that provide funding for capital costs for parks, trails and recreational programs.
Supporting programs that provide Redding's youth with work-learn opportunities that improve our trails and parks.
Providing fiscal sponsorship for community initiated park and trail related ventures.
Advocating for park and trail related issues.
Our parks, trails and open spaces preserve the soul of Redding, and promote the
pleasures we all share for recreation, reflection and fun. Your support for these places
that bring us such happiness is crucial!
